Ronald Bobo Sr, the chair of the 23rd Baptist World Congress Program Planning Committee, is Senior Pastor of the First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of Flint, Michigan, USA. He has also served in Pastoral Ministry at the West Side Missionary Baptist Church in Saint Louis, Missouri. As a native of Detroit, Michigan, he has studied in Michigan, Kentucky, and Illinois.
Ron is a past Vice President of the Baptist World Alliance and the Chairman of the Foreign Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA Inc. Since 2004, he has served as the Founder and Executive Director of Sharing Hope International Ministries, a 501c3 global outreach ministry offering preaching, teaching, medical care, humanitarian aid, and leadership development to 32 nations, reaching every inhabited continent around the world.
