NxtGen Leadership

NxtGen Leaders have an opportunity to take part in a special pre-Congress Summit being held July 7-8, 2025.

Are you under 35? Are you taking a lead in your church, your community or your work place? Is God calling you to take on more responsibility for him? The NxtGen Leadership Summit will be the ideal place for you to be. Come and meet with other emerging leaders from across the globe – worship together, learn from and encourage each other, build lifelong friendships and cohorts that could continue long beyond being together in Brisbane. Sharpen your leadership and personal skills.

The program will focus on Living and Leading the Good News…

  • in an anxious world
  • as an advocate using our voice for justice & to bring light

We look forward to welcoming speakers and contributors from around the World including Charlie Dates, Pastor at Progressive Baptist Church in Chicago, and Kay Warren who founded Hope for Brighter Tomorrows.

After the Summit, stay on for the Baptist World Congress and be a prophetic voice in workshops and seminars, Bible studies and plenary sessions, as well as other elements of the Congress program. We want to hear the voice of those under 35 throughout the week.

Opportunities will be provided for you to continue to connect after the Summit, during the Congress program, and beyond. We pray God will guide you to be part of the next BWA NxtGen Leadership Initiative – an opportunity to stay connected with an international group of NxtGen leaders who will continue gathering and growing their skills for future ministry.
