Micheline Makkar is a distinguished lecturer and speaker, recognized for her contributions to numerous international and national conferences with a particular focus on the Arab world and Europe. She is a leading advocate for women’s leadership and actively supports university students in developing their vision for the future.
Alongside her husband, she co-produced the internationally acclaimed Syrian film Damascus Speaks, which examines the relationship between Paul the Apostle and the city of Damascus. The film premiered in Syria, the Vatican, and various other countries worldwide. She currently serves at the Baptist Church in Damascus, one of Syria’s largest congregations.
