Juan Garcia, a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, has studied in Puerto Rico and Virginia, USA. He serves as the Pastor of Primera Iglesia Bautista Newport News (the Hispanic Congregation of First Baptist Church Newport News), a church with a multicultural congregation with people from Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
He also serves as the first Hispanic Moderator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
