congress hosts
The Baptist World Congress is hosted each quinquennium on a rotational basis within one of the Baptist World Alliance’s six regions. In 2025, the Baptist World Congress will take place within the Asia Pacific region and will be hosted by our incredible ministry partners: Australian Baptist Ministries and Queensland Baptists.
Australian Baptist Ministries
Australian Baptists are a multi-cultural and multi-generational movement of people serving communities in metropolitan, regional, coastal, rural and remote Australia through a network of over 1,000 churches.
We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord! This confession is the foundation of our unity as a movement of churches, supplemented by our shared Biblical beliefs and practices for congregational life, Christian living, and outreach.
Queensland Baptists
QB is a committed community of churches and their ministries working alongside and with each other under Christ to serve the mission of God throughout Queensland and beyond.
Through faith-filled prayer and proactive servant leadership, to be a multiplying, collaborative movement of healthy, autonomous churches that inspire and assist each other to disciple intentionally and mission effectively, so that they can be used by God to impact Queensland and beyond for Jesus.
