The theme for the 23rd Baptist World Congress is “Living the Good News” with the anchor passage of Luke 4:18-19.

Over the week, we will explore: How do we live the good news in today’s world?  How can we effectively proclaim good news to the poor, freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind? How can we to set the oppressed free and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour?  How can we work together to achieve this?  What can we learn to take back to our own settings?

We look forward to being inspired and learning together as we hear from our global Baptist family on these topics. The theme will be unpacked by keynote speakers, in our worship, in Bible studies, focus groups, and seminars.  The children’s and teenage tracks will follow the same themes so that families can chat together about how they have been impacted by what they have seen and heard.

We are so thankful for our partnership with Queensland Baptists who led our logo development initiative. Through their intentional leadership, the Congress logo reflects a depth of meaning that is rich in symbolism and connection. The design was created by Australian Indigenous artist Mariah Sweetman.

Trilhas para o exterior: Isso representa o transbordamento do relacionamento com Jesus.
